edpic opens up in India
Mobile content specialists edpic have signed an exclusive content distribution deal with leading Indian content aggregator, Phoneytunes.
The deal gives edpic direct access to Phoneytunes' extensive distribution in the sub-continent and south-east Asia, including Spice Telecom, BPL Mobile and Hutch India.
edpic will provide graphics, wallpapers, screensavers and video, covering entertainment, fun, lifestyle, movie and music categories.
edpic Editorial Director Andy Stevens said: "Working with a key distributor such as Phoneytunes has opened up the massive market for mobile downloads in India.
"Phoneytunes have a fantastic record at understanding the value of content and marketing it in a user-friendly and successful way."
