edpic have been retained by Brandhandling to develop a destination website and devise an online marketing campaign for its revolutionary new fitness shoe, the FitFlop.

The FitFlop is a flip-flop with a gym built in. It's footwear with a difference – not only are they comfortable to wear, they help their wearers tone their legs as they walk.

As the site says: 'FitFlop walking is like barefoot walking, but better. Studies done at Salford University in Manchester showed that walking in FitFlops is as healthy for your posture as walking barefoot, but with the added benefit of reduced joint strain and shock.'

TheFitFlop.com has been designed to showcase the shoe design and colour options, enable customers to find their nearest stockist and encourage user feedback through 'wearer reviews'.

In addition, edpic are managing email marketing to an ever growing mailing list.

We have to agree with the enlightened view of Fox Mobile CEO Mauro Montanaro when he said: ‘There are two main differences today, which have hampered growth of (mobile) 1.0.
